Hi,

My name is Hasan Shehzad. I have a construction firm in Pakistan. we usually take projects related to water supply schemes, which involve water source development and then supply to consumers i.e. pipe laying etc.

I end up paying quite high amount of money on resistivity testing and bore logging to other companies. I am looking to reduce this cost by buying some equipment for water detection. I am also trying to open up a consultancy for this purpose so we can provide these services to other construction companies.
I know that some of the common methods invloved are:
seismic,
resistivity
borehole logging systems

What amongst them or any other methods of water-detection are most widely used? What are the best commercially available devices/setups that can be used for this purpose?
What are the price ranges of these equipments?
